Burger King restaurant opens at MIA

Burger King franchisee Food Chain (Holdings) Limited has opened Malta's fourth Burger King restaurant in Malta International Airport's new food court area, accessible from both the Departures and Arrivals lounges.

The first Burger King restaurant opened in Malta in Valletta in 1995. The new restaurant opening coincides with the introduction of Kinnie and Pepsico brands portfolio at local Burger Kings.

Food Chain (Holdings) Limited is a subsidiary company of the Farsons Group. Other Burger King restaurants are situated in Sliema and Paceville.

Burger King operates more than 11,500 restaurants in the US and in over 72 countries and US territories worldwide. Approximately 90 per cent of restaurants are owned and operated by independent franchisees, many of them family-owned operations.

The MIA restaurant will be open between 11 a.m. and 2 a.m. from Monday to Thursday and Sunday, and from 11 a.m. to 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Free Wi-Fi service is available.
