I have a complaint to make to the authorities if there are any! It's about the pavement in front of the Travellers' Lodge Hotel in Pioneer Road, Bugibba.

Last summer, the front pavement of this hotel was changed. A railing was installed unnecessarily and this closed a 15 metre-access to the pavement from the road.

In addition, several dangerous plant holders where also installed. If someone were to fall on them it is so easy to get hurt. They can also damage cars' doors when vehicles park close by. Above is a photograph of this railing with the dangerous plant holders.

Is it possible that the authorities should take so long to act on such irregularities?

We complained to the local council of St Paul's Bay three weeks ago and it was supposed to inform the police who should have contacted us in a short time. But no one did. Does anyone care?
