An unarmed and unmasked man walked into a St Paul's Bay pharmacy yesterday, demanded money from the pharmacist and walked away with close to €400.

The suspect simply went into the pharmacy in St Paul Street in broad daylight and asked for money.

The terrified pharmacist obliged.

Sources said the police were patrolling the roads for any suspicious activity and surveying the banks for any people depositing considerable sums of money.

Duty Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera launched an inquiry.
