More than 30 professional performers are up to some spectacular circus tricks under a big top in Floriana.
The International World Class Santa Claus Circus, which is in Malta until January 4, includes dance, sport, acrobatic tricks, gladiator warriors, and circus artists of different genres including magicians, trapezists, clowns and fire artists.
In short, there's plenty of classic circus entertainment...without the animals. In view of controversy that surrounded circuses in Malta in the past, no animals will perform this year.
There are two performances a day with shows at 5.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. in a circus tent with a seating capacity of 1,400 at the Granaries Car Park in Floriana.
Ticket prices start from €15 and can be purchased from the circus ticket booth at the MCP Car Park between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
