Vella - Genuis

Married recently at St Mary's parish church, Attard, were Elaine Vella, daughter of Francis and Maryanne Vella of Attard, and Daniel Anthony Genuis, son of Ronald and Rose Genuis of Tarxien.

Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Alfred Vella. Etienne Vella, the bride's brother, and Alan Genuis, the groom's brother, witnessed the ceremony. Matthew Genuis, the groom's brother was best man. The bride wore a strapless gown adorned with lace and a full-length lace veil, and carried a yellow and peach bouquet wrapped in golden tulle. She was attended by Marion Caruana, the bride's cousin as matron of honour.

A reception was later held at Palazzo Capua in Sliema.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Switzerland, France and Germany.
