Ph.D. in Neuroscience

Brenda Bonnici, daughter of Joseph and Grace Bonnici of San Gwann, recently received her Ph.D. degree in Neuroscience from the University of Basel.

In 1991, Ms Bonnici graduated with honours in Pharmacy from the University of Malta. She later enrolled at the University of Basel's Department of Biomedicine in 2004. Her studies included research and the establishment of new culture models, pharmacological treatments and microscopy.

Ms Bonnici has just started employment with Novartis Pharma, Basel, and is currently assisting in the control of EU standards of pharmaceutical products.
