Mobile phone users should know how much they spend
Alternattiva Demokratika has called for a system whereby mobile phone users are informed how much every call, SMS or MMS costs them after they send or receive one.
In a statement released yesterday, AD chairman Arnold Cassola urged the Malta Communications Authority to ensure that mobile phone operators set up a system for consumers which monitors mobile phone spending.
Prof. Cassola pointed out that prepaid clients were left completely in the dark, while post-paid clients were able to check the details of their spending only when receiving their monthly bill.

Agree 100%
Also how about the line being kept usable without any time limits when the customers have a balance and not having your line barred unless you top it?
Why should the companies who are make millions in profit every year and get interest on our pre-paid accounts make us pay again every fixed period or bar our line notwithstanding that we have a balance in our account?
Where is the Regulator?
Who protects the Consumer against these sharks?
What has the Consumer Competition Division to say about this?
