I am a missionary priest in Peru. Last summer I visited Malta for my holidays. During my stay the mayor of Marsascala, Mario Calleja (a personal friend of mine, who also had a three-month missionary experience with me here in Peru), together with his council and the people of Marsascala gave me a very generous donation of $2,500. I would like to thank them all for their help and support.

My sincere thanks also go to the Missionary Group of Gozo who gave me another generous donation of €1,000 towards the poor of my parish of La Tomilla.

I thank all benefactors for their generosity and I encourage all Gozitans to keep supporting this missionary group.

Its members organise a coffee morning every month to help Gozitan missionaries.

I am using these donations to buy food, clothes and medicines for the poor families.

We are also building small houses including toilets for the homeless and for those who lack these basic facilities.

I would like to thank you all and promise you our daily prayers.
