Victoria and Xaghra Scout Groups have organised a number of activities to bring scouting centenary celebrations in Gozo to an end.

A tree planting ceremony by Group Scout leader Lorrie Saliba (Victoria) and Group Scout leader Vince Vella (Xaghra) was held at Sir Michelangelo Refalo Centre for Further Studies in Victoria on December 13. A commemorative plaque was unveiled by both leaders. The event was followed by other activities including clean-ups in the main parking area in Victoria, Ta' Zejta Valley, Calypso Cave and at the Citadel, maintenance work at the Arka Respite Centre in Ghajnsielem and planting of carob trees in Mgarr.
