Tinted glass on car windscreens

'Something has been bothering me for some time. It is the matter of tinted glass on cars. Cars imported with tinted glass are permissible. However, cars that are fitted with tinted glass after importation are not. I find this to be discriminatory, as the result is the same. If there is something wrong or illegal about it, the importation of such tints should be stopped or local tints should be allowed.' (Joe Genovese)
