Bupa, Casa Antonia sign agreement

Bupa's Malta representative Global Capital Health Insurance Agency has signed a payment agreement with Casa Antonia in Balzan to eliminate administrative burdens for members by creating a direct payment channel between the insurer and the private providers.

Under the agreement, Bupa members benefitting from the convalescence home option are now able to make use of the convalescence services offered at Casa Antonia without the need to go through administrative burdens to settle bills.

Charges related to the convalescence period will be settled by Bupa directly.

The agreement was signed by Bupa Malta manager Adriana Zarb Adami and Edward Vella on behalf of Casa Antonia.

For the past 21 years, Global Capital has provided a one-stop service point for individual and corporate financial services requirements, with a focus on financial portfolio management, fund advisory, life insurance, private medical insurance, insurance broking and property.

Casa Antonia is a privately owned nursing and residential home offering long-term care, short-stay convalescent and respite care. Opened in July 2003, it overlooks the Presidential Palace and gardens of San Anton. It houses 80 rooms with a bed capacity of just over 120.
