The artist 'H Blackman'
I have come across a pen drawing of the Grand Harbour signed "H Blackman Malta 1930". Can someone kindly provide some information on the artist?

@Carmel Aquilina
I have never heard of another Blackman artist in that period. I should add that Antoine Blackman was a family friend, and he witnessed my grandparents' marriage in 1929. The date 1930 falls within the period during which he was active.
Perhaps Mr Aquilina should compare the signature on his drawing to that on some other work known for a certainty to be by A. Blackman. His works are not common, but the odd watercolour does appear on the market from time to time.

Thank you for your comments. The signature on the drawing is clearly H Blackmam. Could there have been an artist by this name in addition to the A Blackman mentioned in your comments?

It is 'A. Blackman'. His Christian name was Antoine.
He owned photographic studio in St Joseph High Road, Hamrun, which continued to be run by his family until the late 1970s or early 1980s. I believe he lived for some time in Gibraltar.
He is mentioned in Marquis Depiro's book on artists who painted Malta.
