Have you ever tried to fight for your rights as a customer? I did, several times. And now I have to publicly apologise, because I upset some trustworthy suppliers.

Let's start with a vet of a newly opened animal clinic. I apologise to him for complaining when he cut off a piece of ear from each of my two pet cats after their neutering (my cats apologise too). I also apologise to my flat builder for complaining when he erected a wall at the wrong place (at least I thought so).

I think I should apologise to my car mechanic for replacing the parts I did not want. My sincere apologies to a driver of my son's school bus who is constantly trying to teach him to properly swear in Maltese. I also apologise to my notary for looking at her badly when she charged me €20 to endorse a photocopy of my ID card.

In addition, I have so many apologies for companies providing cable TV, electricity, petrol and other services. But I do not know to whom to send my apologies and ask for forgiveness (perhaps the Prime Minister could channel my apologies). From now on, I am ready to pay "the price" to become a customer to the satisfaction of suppliers. My only fear is that I will not have enough "funds" to pay that price since it seems we are going into a period of hyperinflation.
