Eight persons were arrested by the police Drug Squad last night when they were found in possession of drugs at a party,

The police said the party was being held in Paceville.

The arrested persons are two 16-year-old girls and six men aged between 16 and 38. They are resident in Cospicua, Sta Lucija, Xaghjra, Gzira and Iklin.

The police said they were found in possession of ecstasy and cannabis resin. Two will be accused in court with drug trafficking.
