Tomorrow

7 p.m. The President attends Mass by Order General Fr Pascual Chavez, to mark the 100th year of the Salesians in Malta at St John's Co-Cathedral, Valletta.

Wednesday

9.45 a.m. The President is presented with a copy of a new publication Sails round Malta - Types of Sea Vessels 1600 BC - 1900 AD by Joseph Muscat and a copy of a new publication Malta: Mit-Tetradachm għall-Ewro - L-Istorja tal-Munita Maltija, by Chev. Joseph Sammut at the Palace, Valletta.

10 a.m. Mrs Fenech Adami visits St Martin's College to collect the L-Istrina piggy banks. Mrs Fenech Adami attends a concert at the Guardian Angel School in Ħamrun.

10.30 a.m. The President is presented with a donation in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund by Novartis general manager and members of staff at the Palace, Valletta.

Thursday

6 p.m. The President attends the Light of Peace ceremony - the blessing of the new chapel at Malta International Airport by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech.

7 p.m. The President presides over the launch of the new publication, Il-Liġi, il-Morali u r-Raġuni, Konversazzjoni bejn il-Prim Imħallef Emeritus Prof. Giuseppe Mifsud Bonnici u n-Nutar Mark Sammut, at the Palace, Valletta.

Friday

9.30 a.m. The President and Mrs Fenech Adami attend Mass with schoolchildren to mark the official launch of the Christmas campaign Milied Flimkien 2008 at St John's Co-Cathedral, Valletta.

10 a.m. Mrs Fenech Adami presides over a MCCF working committee meeting at the Palace, Valletta.

11.30 a.m. The President receives a group of Stella Maris students and is presented with a donation in aid of the MCCF at the Palace.

6.30 p.m. The President inaugurates the live crib as part of the Christmas campaign's activities by the Malta Council for Science and Technology at the Old Opera House, Valletta.

Saturday

10 a.m. The President reviews a guard of honour by the Armed Forces of Malta, followed by a march at Palace Square, Valletta, on Republic Day.

11 a.m. The President presides over the investiture ceremony marking Republic Day at the Grand Council Chamber at the Palace, Valletta.

7.30 p.m. The President, accompanied by Mrs Fenech Adami, hosts a reception on Republic Day at the Gozo Ministry, Victoria.
