• A bazaar and book sale will be held at the Island Sanctuary, Tas-Silġ, Marsaxlokk, today from 1.30 to 4 p.m. All proceeds are in aid of the sanctuary.

• The Friends of Mount Carmel Hospital Society and the Occupational Therapy Unit are organising a Christmas fair in aid of patients today, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Speranza hall, Mt Carmel Hospital, Attard.

• YWCA (Malta) is holding a Christmas bazaar, in aid of YWCA projects, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 172, Valley Road, Msida (near Msida council). • Cana Movement director Fr Joseph Mizzi will celebrate Mass at the MUSEUM chapel, Blata l-Bajda, followed by adoration of the Eucharist on Thursday at 7 p.m.

• The Marian Movement is holding the central Marian Cenacle on Thursday after Mass at 6 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes chapel, Floriana.

• The Malta Hospice Movement is organising a dinner in celebration of World Volunteers Day on Friday at 8 p.m. at Buskett Roadhouse. The event is against a donation of €20. • A Mass and adoration led by Fr Tonio Mifsud, OFM Conv., will be held on Friday from 8.15 to 10.30 p.m. at St Francis church, Msida Road, Birkirkara. This will serve as an act of reparation for offences that take place during the full moon. Everyone is invited.

• St Patrick's church, Sliema, is organising a medley of Christmas favourites on Saturday at 7.30 p.m. in St John Bosco Street. Entrance is free.
