Emitac Mobile Solution (EMS), Go Mobile and Research In Motion (RIM) has launched the Blackberry solution to enable customers to enjoy the benefits of enhanced communications and increased productivity by using a Blackberry smartphone to access e-mail, browse the web, make calls, send and receive text and picture messages and keep organised.

At the launch, Go Mobile is offering the Blackberry Bold, BlackBerry 8800 and Blackberry Pearl 8120 smartphones on the market. All three smartphones will be available from Go and Go Mobile stores. To support this new range of Blackberry smartphones, Go Mobile will also offer Blackberry services that will enable easy wireless access to e-mail, internet, multimedia and other lifestyle applications including instant messaging and social networking.

"In response to strong customer interest, we are proud to introduce these three Blackberry smartphones with two service offerings - one of which is tailor-made for individual users and small businesses, while the other is offered for corporate clients," Go Mobile chief of operations Norbert Prihoda said. "We are pleased with the strong relationship Go Mobile is building with EMS and Research In Motion, a relationship that will translate into cutting edge mobile services for our customers." Go Mobile will offer the Blackberry Enterprise Server software for corporate customers and Blackberry Internet Service for smaller businesses and individual users.

Blackberry Enterprise Server is for organisations that manage their own e-mail servers. The Blackberry Enterprise Server software tightly integrates with IBM Lotus Domino, Microsoft Exchange and Novell GroupWise and uses advanced encryption and IT policy controls to enable secure, push-based wireless access to email and other corporate data. Blackberry Internet Service is designed for smaller businesses and individuals.

It allows customers to access up to 10 supported corporate and personal email accounts (including most popular ISP e-mail accounts such as, Yahoo! Mail and Google Mail) from a single device.
