The Malta Resources Authority has accepted the principles used in the drawing up of new water and electricity tariffs.

In a letter to the Resources ministry, the MRA said that together with Deloitte and Touche it examined the mechanism used and agreed with the principles which led to the drawing up of the tariffs.

The final auditing report will be presented to the resources minister and published in the coming days.
