Injured in road accident

A man was injured in a traffic accident in December 13 Road, Marsa yesterday evening. The police said the man, who is thought to be a foreigner, was crossing the busy road when he was hit by a car.

He was rushed to hospital where he was found to be suffering from various fractures. The police said his injuries are not life threatening.

The police are investigating the accident.
