Gift of Life welcomes Muscat's statement
The Gift of Life Foundation has welcomed Opposition leader Joseph Muscat's declaration at the meeting for European Socialist leaders in Madrid, that the Labour Party was a pro-life party.
Gift of Life said that in his statement, Dr Muscat underlined the need for European socialists to not only set a new direction for Europe but to elect to the European Parliament members who worked for the people and their country.
Gift of Life said it felt very encouraged that the PL would be keeping its word in fielding pro-life candidates to contest the MEP elections in 2009.

Mr Ellul - you will never silence those who stand up for the unborn!
Sarcasm, it seems, knows no bounds!
They are not "pro-lifers" - they are doing what every responsible and caring, right thinking being does and that is respecting human life! Yes they are in favour of life, including your own!
What exactly do you have against people who uphold human life and the right to life?
Everybody who is against life is not for life!
The right to life extends to the whole world!
If it means supporting political candidates who value human life then so be it!
Just what is your problem with life?
You have one!
Let others have one!
