HSBC staff in climate change project

HSBC Malta employees are sharing climate change knowledge and experience they acquired when they assisted experienced scientists in research in the UK with local councils and non-governmental organisations.

The 18 employees took part in a five-year $100 million partnership programme which the bank has undertaken to help tackle the causes and impacts of climate change.

It is working with The Climate Group, Earthwatch Institute, Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute and the WWF mobilising a green taskforce of thousands of HSBC employees worldwide. HSBC is endeavoring to tackle the causes and impacts of climate change in a tangible manner.
