GO launches BlackBerry
GO today announced the launch of the BlackBerry solution, enablng clients to access email, browse the web, make phone calls, send and receive text and picture messages and keep organized, as well as access a wide variety of business and leisure applications while on the move.
The company said it is offering the BlackBerry Bold, BlackBerry 8800 and BlackBerry Pearl 8120 smartphones from all its outlets.
“We are proud to introduce these three BlackBerry smartphones together with two service offerings – one of which is tailor-made for individual users and small businesses, while the other is offered for corporate clients,” said GO Mobile chief of operations Norbert Prihoda. “We are pleased with the strong relationship GO Mobile is building with EMS and Research In Motion, a relationship that will translate into cutting edge mobile services for our customers. Mobile email and Internet access no longer constitute a luxury in today’s communication-based world and our customers will be able to enjoy the full benefits of the BlackBerry solution.”
GO has also announced the launching of Malta’s first ever all-in-one package that includes all four communications services – fixed line telephony, broadband Internet, television and mobile telephony.
"Home Pack is the ideal solution for customers and households who want to benefit from a single package which delivers significant savings and one bill. The package starts from €33 a month," the company said.
The Home Pack includes Talk Anytime – with unlimited fixed line telephone calls to GO fixed line numbers, Silver + TV service, and broadband Internet packages starting from 2 Mbps as well as 400 free mobile monthly minutes to be shared between four family mobile numbers when calling each other and the home fixed line number. The pack also includes free Wi-Fi modem, up to 2 free TV set-top boxes and free installation for all services.

What a joke these special 'Home' packages offered by GO are. If you are already a subscriber to fixed telephony, adsl and free+ tv there is absolutely nothing to be gained. It seems that GO does not think of its present subscribers but only tries to woo new clients.
Unbelievable!
