Car passenger critically injured
A 24-year-old man from Naxxar was in critical condition following a traffic accident along Salina Road, limits of Naxxar, yesterday morning.
The man was a passenger in a Fiat Punto driven by a 23-year-old woman from Żebbuġ. She lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree on the road to Salina in Naxxar, the police said. The woman was treated for slight injuries. The busy carriageway leading to Magħtab was closed for around an hour.
