• A card party in aid of the Little Sisters of the Poor will be held at the Preluna Hotel, Sliema, on Wednesday from 10 a.m. For bookings call Blanche Martin on 2133 0387.

• The Richmond Foundation is organising its next self-help group meeting at No.16, Antonio Agius Street, Floriana, on Wednesday at 5.30 p.m. Self-help group meetings are held every month for those experiencing mental health difficulties to offer support and encouragement.

• The Stitch In Time Club is holding a cross stitch event at the Catholic Institute in Floriana on Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Members of the public may see cross stitchers at work and participate in a number of workshops. There will also be a Christmas themed cross stitch exhibition and a lottery. Entrance is free. Any donations will be in aid of the Richmond Foundation.

The Association is also holding its annual general meeting and lunch at St Aloysius' College, Birkirkara, on December 8. Mass will be said at 9 a.m. in the inner college chapel followed by the AGM in the gym's meeting room and lunch at the gym's cafeteria. • As part of its 'For Diversity. Against Discrimination' campaign, the Centre for Faith and Justice is holding a video forum entitled 'Islam, Christianity, working together for the common good' at St Aloysius' College Sixth Form hall, Birkirkara, on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., during which the DVD The Imam and the Pastor will be screened, followed by a panel discussion led by Imam El Sadi and Fr Luciano Borg. The public is invited to attend.
