Updated: "Mobile" kiosk being removed from Gzira

(Video added)

A mobile kiosk which had become permanent is currently being removed in enforcement action led by the Government's Property Division.

A spokesman for the Lands Parliamentary Secretariat said the owner of Emmy's Kiosk in Gzira, which had not been operational for a number of years, was served with an enforcement notice on November 21 and was given three days to rectify his position.

Since no action was taken by the owner, enforcement is currently being carried out to remove the kiosk. The Government Property Division is being assisted by Enemalta, the Water Services Corporation and the Public Works.
