I would like to bring to the attention of your readers of the plight that is being suffered by the Christian community in the state of Orissa and other surrounding areas in India where more than 4000 houses have been destroyed, 80 persons have been killed and 50,000 have been been left homeless. Many are living in refugee camps.Others have fled tyo the forests. All of this happened because the Christians have been wrongly blamed by the Hindus for the murder of a Hindu leader and which has transpired the murder was the work of Maoist terrorists. Meanwhile, this persecution still has not abated.
