The National Championships for clubs and individual wrestlers will be held on Sunday at the Naxxar Boys Secondary, starting at 10 a.m.

As in past years, the championships are being sponsored by British Airways.

At present, the Malta Amateur Wrestling Federation is grooming a number of young wrestlers within its fold who are making a name for themselves not only in local competitions but also in international events.

All of them will be on the mat during this weekend's national championships.
