Eight Premier League players have been banned by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner following last weekend's three top-flight matches.

Qormi striker Chucks Nwoko has been suspended for two matches after seeing red in his side's 3-2 defeat to Ħamrun Spartans on Sunday. Nwoko, on as a second-half substitute, was sent off for spitting at Ħamrun defender Roderick Fenech.

Renie Forace, also of Qormi, was given a one-match ban after collecting four yellow cards.

Floriana, Marsaxlokk and Msida had two players each on the suspensions list, namely Christian Cassar, Sunday Eboh, Brian Said, Stephen Wellman, Tyrone Farrugia and Pedro Calcado.
