Following the report in The Times about the sewage tax which the government will be introducing, may I propose that the government gives consideration to a breathing or expiratory tax (CO2 emission) and a flatus tax (methane emission, methane being another greenhouse gas). I'm sure our tax-hungry PM will take the suggestion up in the next budget.

After this, there will be nothing more to tax and the public will be finally left to rest in peace (RIP).
