Pharmacists suspend action
The Union Ħaddiema Maqgħudin has suspended industrial action by government pharmacists after the Health Department said it was prepared to discuss the union's proposals.
The union submitted its proposals almost a year ago and has since been pressing the authorities for their counterproposals on pharmacists' working conditions.
Last week the UĦM directed all pharmacists to close their outlets by noon and threatened to suspend the pharmacy service from next month should they get no reply.

Now, let's get back to proper work - hard as it may appear, but for which the pharmacists are being paid in full! Number one priority:- the Pharmacy Of Your Choice scheme please. And as soon as possible!!!
