I truly wish l-Ghabex would get some funds.

the place is so shabby and tiny.... women (and their children) leaving their abusive partners at least deserve the dignity of living in a decent place while they try to get back on their feet and protect themselves from danger.

Charity begins at home. We should donate whole heartedly, who knows? Maybe one day we will be the ones who need other people's assistance.

It is sad that all the worthy causes cannot benifit but it is just impossible, so good to see that the Malta Hospice Movement is going to recieve something after so many years of being overlooked. Without speaking out of term maybe HSBC who I am led to believe are a sponcer, should review the amount of interest thay are charging Puttinu Cares on the loans to buy the said properties, this would of course help this very wothwhile charity..

Am I correct in noticing that the PUTTINU CARES FOR CHILDREN are not listed in this article as one of the beneficiaries of the Istrina funds? I stand to be corrected if this is not the case. Puttinu Cares asist the children suffering from cancer and their parents, who require treatment abroad in the UK. They are also paying for the recently purchased property in Sutton, which cost quite a lot, to provide lodging for these families during their ordeal to lessen their hardship. All help to this organisation will go a long way to help the cancer children and they need all our support.
