Fishing in Libyan waters
I refer to the report by The Times of the Budget Estimates report by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Tonio Borg. The article referred to the issue of Maltese fishermen fishing in Libyan waters. One is to note that Malta has expressed its desire to obtain a number of permits for Maltese fishing boats to work in the Libyan protected fishing zones. The Libyan side promised to study the request according to the Libyan legislation in force in this field. Libya is ready to welcome a delegation from Malta and to cooperate on this issue.

We keep getting bullied, not just by the EU countries, but by everyone. One suggestion Tonio Borg. Use the veto power on some pacts in the EU. Try it, it will be effective.

Isn't it amazing how the Libyans are so quick to protect their fishing zones and waters that may hold oil & gas deposits with force if necessary but then shy away in regards to the refugee issues!
