A University staff squash ladder is being co-ordinated by the IT Services in collaboration with the Institute for Physical Education and Sport and the Office for Human Resources Management and Development.

The Malta Sports Council is supporting the initiative by providing free use of squash courts at the National Pool Complex between noon and 1.30 p.m.

Squash is a great way to keep physically fit and a squash ladder basically consists of a list of players ranked according to their ability.

Players challenge other players higher up the ladder to a game of squash and, if they win, they move up the ladder. This enables players of different level of ability, including beginners, to find other players of similar ability to play with, while offering a continuous incentive to keep on playing regularly.
