Pure Promotions is organising a 24-hour DJ set in aid of L-Istrina at the Matrix, Axis, Paceville, on December 13 at 4 a.m.

DJ Ruby will be performing on the night challenging his previous national record of 21 hours during last year's marathon.

The aim of this event is to call all dance music lovers to unite and support a good cause.

Tickets cost €8, and further donations can be made throughout the night.

Profits from the event will be donated to L-Istrina during its live television broadcast at the end of December.
