Bay Street celebrates birthday today

Bay Street celebrates its eighth birthday today.

The day begins with Mass at 11 a.m. by Fr Colin Apap with the participation of Footprints band.

After Mass, activities kick off with a show by the Paul Curmi Dancers and Malta Academy for Performing Arts.

After lunch, entertainment will include a martial arts show by the Kung Fu Shaolin school, followed by performances by Dance College Studios, the Fluid Singers, Priscilla Psaila and Rosana Maya, Charles Tahir, Alfred the magician, Ace Line dancers, the Godfrey and Carmen School of Dance, Aldo Busuttil and Klinsmann and Kylie Coleiro.

Chef Peter Dacoutros will also be attending a book signing session at Chaucers.

The evening will include singers Freddie Portelli, Lawrence Grey, Jon Lukas with the Hugo Band, and Malta's Elvis impersonator.

Throughout the day there will also be Father Christmas, paint artists, stilt walkers, pony rides, a climbing wall, and a BMX show.
