Joseph Philip Borg (on 28/11/08)
Our family is very saddened by my Uncle's passing. As did others in our family, I followed him into the practice of law and was always inspired by his career. On behalf of my family-- his brother Philip, my mother Dorothy, my sister Shirley and neices Kim, Jen, Chelly and Josie we grieve with our entire family in Malta. He was a dedicated public servant, an inspiration to his family, friends and country and he will be sorely missed.

Very sad to hear. Lived in the same street many years ago and he always said hello when passing by. A true gentleman indeed. My sincere condolences to Mrs. Borg, David and James.

I remember him at the Attorney General's Chambers where I worked closely with him during the years between 1985 and 1997 when he taught me the techniques of legislative drafting.
May God rest his soul.
My condolences to his family.

Dr. Joe Borg was a gentleman. A dedicated husband and father.
He always gave good advice whether in private and in the public service.
A long serving President of the St. Philip Band Club of Zebbug.
He greatly encouraged me from a very young age to work in civic and cultural activities.
I owe him a lot.
My condolenses to his wife Audrey and his sons. May he rest in peace.

Michael Bonnici
