Fina First could have sewn up the league title with a win in their penultimate fixture against Globalair Travel, but were beaten 6-2 meaning the top spot will now be decided in the final 'position' round.
Tabsat beat NINE in another 6-2 scoreline, closing the gap on Fina to five points.
Ramis and Globalair will now face off for third place, the former having also picked up a majority win in week 18, while at the other end of the table, the second relegation spot is still to be decided between Café Ole and NINE.
Globalair were two points down after narrowly losing the first of the set to Fina 742-755. Game Two was also a close call but saw Globalair make level ground with a 714-706 win, then they pocketed Game Three 701-695.
Fina were just one, solitary pin short of taking the series points to force the draw (2,157- 2,156), handing victory to their opponents.
Against Tabsat, it was NINE who got the better start, winning the opener 809-826. Tabsat, however, responded with an 816-731 equaliser to make it 2-2.
Tabsat were 800+ again in the third, taking it 832-715 to confirm victory, leaving NINE in the penultimate spot, hoping to move up a place and avoid the drop in Week 19.
