Enemalta has new CEO

Karl Camilleri, an electrical engineer, has been appointed chief executive officer at Enemalta Corporation.

Mr Camilleri, who officially assumed office on Tuesday, furthered his studies in the UK where he obtained an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a post-graduate diploma in marketing. He started his career with SGS Thompson and then moved to Maltacom, later spending a number of years as a consultant to major corporations and blue chip companies in the UK focusing primarily on programme and risk management. Before returning to Malta, Mr Camilleri spent five years with British Telecom.

He is married to Nadine née Farrugia Cassano and they have two children.
