Customs seize cigarettes at airport
Over 30,000 smuggled cigarettes were found in the luggage of a Russian passenger who had just arrived from Moscow, the Customs Department said yesterday.
Suspicious Customs officers approached the passenger after he had gone through the Green Channel, Customs said. It did not specify when the find was made.
The passenger was handed over to the police Economic Crimes Unit for further investigations.
