Obituary
ATTARD. On November 19, WALTER, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Maria, née Sullivan, his sister-in-law Gina, widow of his brother Joseph Paul, and her children Corinne, Richard, Stephen, Marice and their spouses, his in-laws Salvino, Rita, Harry, Joe, Eddie, Lilian and Margaret and their respective spouses Rose and Therese, numerous nephews and nieces, especially Gloria and Mario, Chris and Debbie and Gerald, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for Ta' l-Ibraġ parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.
GRECH. On November 20, at Casa Antonia, Balzan, Major ALEXANDER A., known as Sonny, ex-chairman of the British Legion, aged 90 passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved May Pecorella, his sister Josephine Galdes, his only nephew Dr Joseph Grech Attard, his nieces Maria, Taziana, Helen, Anna, Veronica, Amata and their respective spouses and families, Sophie, Anna, Nancy, Josephine and their respective families, Mark, Corinne, Moira, Sylvia and their respective spouses and families. The funeral leaves Casa Antonia, Balzan tomorrow Saturday at 9 a.m. for the Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. MAZZOLA. On November 20, at his residence in Kappara, JOE, aged 52, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his mother Yolanda, his brother Dr Paul Mazzola and his wife Fiorella, his adorable nieces Francesca and Rebecca, his partner Joanne Scicluna and her daughters Paula and Petra and their respective boyfriends Manuel and Timmy, other relatives and friends -RIP. The funeral leaves his residence tomorrow, Saturday, at 8.30 a.m. for Lourdes parish church in San Ġwann, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Cospicua tour
The National Council of Women will be holding a tour of the city of Cospicua on November 29, meeting at Gavino Gulia Square at 3 p.m. At the end of the tour the group will proceed to Vittoriosa for tea. Transport leaves at 2.15 p.m. with various pick-up points on a first-come-first-served basis. Romanian children
The newly-formed Malta/Romanian Society will be holding a meeting at the Catholic Institute, Floriana on December 12 at 6 p.m.
The meeting is primarily for parents who adopted Romanian children.

Bazaar in Ħamrun
The mission group Animazzjoni Missjunarja Teresa Nuzzo will be holding a bazaar in aid of the missions of the Daughters of the Sacred Heart in India, Kenya and Tanzania.
The bazaar will be open between Monday and November 30 from 8.30 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Valentine Hall, St Joseph High Road, Ħamrun.
Model exhibition
The Diecast and Scale Model Society will be holding an exhibition of models at the Easysell showroom in Qormi between December 6 and 8 from 9.30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Works at Pwales
Upgrading works will be carried out on the wastewater infrastructure at Pwales in St Paul's Bay tomorrow.
