Enemalta names new CEO
Ing. Karl Camilleri has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Enemalta Corporation.
Mr Camilleri graduated as an electrical engineer and proceeded to further his studies in the UK with an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a post graduate diploma in Marketing.
He started his career with SGS Thompson and moved to Maltacom as Head of Planning and Projects. He later spent a number of years as a consultant to major corporations and blue chip companies in the UK focusing primarily on programme management and risk management.
Before moving back to Malta, Mr Camilleri worked for five years with British Telecom in strategy management, programme management and product management.
He is married to Nadine nee' Farrugia Cassano and has two children.
Mr Camilleri succeeds David Spiteri Gingell, who stepped down some months ago.

@ John Caruana - You said " Unless some one has the guts to create an earthquake nothing wil ever change there". Now that we have a Minster (some call him Ministru Prim - as against Prim Ministru as was called by JM in parliament), that has guts to take decisions, some are calling him 'bulldozer'. What do we want then?? The old saying 'Do not shout as you might awaken the government' ???

Hate to repeat what others are saying, but what are your plans to control wastage, pilferage of poower, under utility of resources, excess manpower.....???

While I wish Mr. Camilleri every success i have no illusion that matters will change. CEOs and chairmen have come and gone and yet we still face the same problems. Unless some one has the guts to create an earthquake (to use the current buzz word) nothing wil ever change there unfortunately.
