Sponsorship for Birkirkara Badminton Club
The Birkirkara Badminton Club have reached an agreement with Middlesea Insurance plc for the latter to sponsor their senior team for season 2008/09 with an option of extending the deal by another two years. The club has been preparing since mid-summer for the next competitive season. Physical fitness sessions were held for all players followed by a training camp at the Gozo Sports Complex. Training sessions have now resumed at St Aloysius Sports Complex on Friday evenings. One may obtain more details by phoning 2141-5110.
