St Edward's College has extended its kindergarten after enrolments grew by 1,200 per cent in 16 months.

During the official opening and blessing of its new state-of-the-art kindergarten, headmaster Michael Chittenden said he was exceptionally pleased with the latest addition of the two beautiful classes.

"The demand for an outstanding education in this age bracket has been enormous," he said. The facilities complement other parts of the college, with stunning features such as vaulted ceilings.

"These facilities are only matched by our excellent teachers. They all go the extra mile to create a wonderful teaching and learning atmosphere," Mr Chittenden added.
