Beauty spot in the south under threat
The rural area between Żabbar and Xgħajra in the area known as San Anard gives a breath of fresh air to the densely populated south of Malta.
This area, which is still not disturbed by the hands of the developers, is immensely beautiful. Recently we received the bad news that the road which leads to Żonqor Point is about to be widened. While some progress has been made in combating pollution, and "environmental issues" have become an excuse for levying more taxes, the government will be harming the environment through this so-called development project.

They say 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder' so if this road is fixed one can at least enjoy it without having their teeth rattled out of their head.
