With reference to my letters about the Floriana housing project (October 23, November 5) I declare that in no way were these two articles intended as a personal criticism of either Housing Authority chairman Charles V. Borg or of Social Policy Minister John Dalli.

The qualities of both these gentlemen are well known to one and all and the Floriana community looks forward to friendly cooperation with both these entities, both in the near and distant future. I would like to emphasise that when the Triq Argotti (Floriana) housing project has been completed, one hopes that the apartments will be given to people originally hailing from Floriana.
