Four persons are under arrest for being in possession of drugs during searches by the police.

The police said that yesterday they arrested a 16-year-old who had cannabis in his possession in Paceville, a 17-year-old who was in possession of several packets of cocaine ready to be sold, at a Marsascala discotheque, and a 26-year-old man from Żebbuġ who was found in possession of cocaine for personal use.

This morning they arrested a 29-year-old in Fgura after he was found to be in possession of two packets of heroin.
