The Labour Party has appointed Anthony Zammit as the opposition's spokesman for health. The party has now incorporated heath with social policy, for which Michael Farrugia is now the main spokesman.
The party said in a statement that changes in responsibilities had to be made in view of the demise of Karl Chircop, the election of Gino Cauchi and the resignation of Joseph Cuschieri.
The MLP also appointed Mr Cauchi spokesman on social dialogue, civil society and minority rights, Roderick Galdes as spokesman on planning and housing and Charles Buhagiar main spokesman on infrastructure and public works.
