Three Catholic youth organisations have been awarded financial grants by APS Bank and the Kummissjoni Djoċesana Żgħażagħ to realise their pastoral projects.

A specially appointed committee accepted project proposals submitted by Żgħażagħ Azzjoni Kattolika, Navitas and Kummissjoni Parrokjali Adolexxenti u Żgħażagħ Żabbar.

The grant scheme was launched to help young people intending to organise projects in line with the Synod document on youth and adolescents. This venture focuses on the concept of evolving pastoral youth work in today's times.

APS Bank and KDŻ will be launching a third call for applications for grants in the coming days, which will be awarded for projects to be implemented between November and April 2009.
