Ban rules Fenech out of City clash

Qormi midfielder Keith Fenech will play no part in Saturday's Premier League match against former team Valletta after he received a one-match ban from the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner yesterday.

Fenech, who joined Qormi from Valletta on a season-long loan last summer, came in for punishment after being sent off in the second half of Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Ħamrun Spartans in an FA Trophy second round match.

As Qormi have been eliminated from the KO competition, the veteran midfielder must serve his suspension in his team's next competitive match.

Qormi will play against champions Valletta at the Hibs Ground on Saturday at 2 p.m.
