A memorandum of understanding to foster further business co-operation and facilitate the exchange of information has been signed between Malta Enterprise and the Commercial Association of Porto.

The memorandum was signed during President Eddie Fenech Adami’s official visit to Portugal, where he is accompanied by a Maltese business delegation.

One to one business meetings were held in Porto between Maltese and Portuguese companies. Sectors that were discussed include renewable energy, transport management, education and training, tourism services, logistics and financial services.

This business initiative was made possible through the financial support of Banif Bank.

The business delegation will today proceed to Lisbon to participate in a business forum and hold further meetings.
